FAQs
What does TBG look for in applicants?
TBG is looking for motivated individuals with ambition and initiative, who are curious and innovative. We look for applicants of all backgrounds, and for those who excel working both individually and part of a team - culturally fit.
Do I need prior experience with consulting?
Consulting experience is not required. TBG emphasizes applicants’ ability to think critically and work effectively in a team setting, as well as initiative, willingness to learn, and adaptability. We are looking for individuals who are ready to hop into the startup scene and consulting world.
Do I need to be a business economics or economics major to apply?
TBG encourages students of all majors, years, and backgrounds to apply. Whether you are interested in consulting, finance, research, or technology, TBG is a great environment for you to develop professionally and personally.
What can I expect to be on the interview?
The interview will consist of a combination of behavioral and case interview questions. The interview process provides insight into your experiences, how well you would be able to interact with a client, and how well you would fit with overall our team. We want to learn about you, and what drives you. We want to see how you would approach and process certain cases that embody the same questions our clients encounter.
I have a question that's not on this FAQ list. Where can I find more information?
